Welcome to the Rif Mountains! After visiting the Blue City of Chefchaouen with its authentic beauty, we will take you on a journey into the wild nature of the Talassemtane National Park. Through narrow gorges, past rushing rivers, we dive into a world full of peace and serenity, which is still wild and natural. After breathtaking hikes through the mountains, we continue our journey with a canoe trip towards the Mediterranean coast. We will also visit the city of Tetouan, home to one of the most beautiful medinas in the country. Finally, we return to Casablanca, where you can visit the second largest mosque in the world.
Arrival by plane in Casablanca. Continue by bus to the Rif Gebrige to the town of Chefchaouen. There we will check into our beautiful hotel and move into our rooms. Afterwards, you can join a city tour or explore the beautiful Blue City on your own.
The next morning you are free to stroll around the medina or visit the Spanish church to get a nice view of the city. In the afternoon around 3 o’clock we will continue in 4×4 vehicles towards Oued El Kannar (river). Via country roads we will arrive at the El Kannar hostel around evening and move back into our rooms.
At 8 a.m. we’ll have a Moroccan breakfast and packed lunches for the road. We soon set off to follow the river into the Talesemtane National Park. On the way, adventurous river crossings and wet feet await us. Towards evening we are expected and fed in the heart of the park. Tents will also already be ready
Will we have 3 or 4 opitons for you to choose from. Whether it is alone to enjoy and explore the beautiful nature, or to go on a guided trek through the mountains. Or to climb the one or other peak. We are sure to find something suitable for you. In the evening then a common meal and exchange about the experience.
Continuation of the journey on foot in the mountains towards the north following a river through beautiful wild nature. Our guides will lead us past large rock faces and dense bushy hills to the village of Agla, 1000 meters above sea level, where we will spend our next night in a simple hostel.
In the morning we will go downhill again to the big waterfall of Archour, where we will have a short break. Following the river, we continue our hike amidst rainforest vegetation to the village of Archour. We will then spend the next night at cafe Rueda.
Depending on the amount of water that the Oued Laou carries, after breakfast we will go down to the river where our journey in canoes will take us further along the river to the place of the same name on the Mediterranean coast. If there is not enough water in the river, we will hike along the riverbed and possibly drive part of the way. Arrived in Oued Laou we will check in to our hostel
We continue by bus and car to Tetouan, a beautiful almost European city in northern Morocco, where we will spend our last day. See the sights or just spend the day strolling around the city
Return to Casablanca .
