Live your life by a compass, not a clock

I am happy to write a post about Chefchaouen, a beautiful city in the northwest of Morocco.

Chefchaouen, also known as the “Blue City”, is famous for its characteristic blue and white buildings. The city is located in the foothills of the Rif Mountains and is surrounded by spectacular landscapes. The city has a rich history dating back to the 15th century, when it was conquered by the Spanish army.

The city is known for its unique architecture and cultural heritage. The narrow streets of the city are lined with blue and white houses, which offer an impressive picture and have become one of the most popular photo motifs in Morocco. The city is also known for its traditional markets and handicrafts, especially hand-woven carpets and handmade ceramics.

In addition to its impressive architecture and cultural heritage, Chefchaouen is also an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The city is surrounded by mountains and offers numerous opportunities for hiking, trekking and mountaineering. There are also many nearby waterfalls and rivers for swimming and fishing.

The city is also known for its friendly inhabitants and relaxed atmosphere. Travelers visiting Chefchaouen can sample delicious Moroccan cuisine and relax on the terraces of cafes and restaurants while enjoying the breathtaking views.
